Understanding that tuition is often a barrier to admission in independent schools, it is the goal of Greene Hill to keep tuition at a minimum. We are developing a sliding scale with a range of $3,500 to $15,000.

Greene Hill School is currently accepting applications for 4-6 year olds for the 2009-10 school year. There is a $50 application fee. Families interested in joining the school for the 2010-2011 school year may also apply for early decision.

Applicants must fill out an application and participate in parent and child interview and observation. In lieu of a child interview, if a child is enrolled in another school or camp program during the admissions process period, Greene Hill School staff may observe the child in that setting. Standardized tests such as the ERB are not considered in our application process.

Going forward, Greene Hill School will follow the Independent School Admission Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY) guidelines for admissions. Through our admissions process, we hope to fill classes with diverse groups of individuals. When constructing a class, we attempt to find a balance with regards to gender, but also take into consideration the interests and needs of each child as an individual as well as his/her ability to harmoniously participate with the group. Preference will be given to residents of the local neighborhood. Special consideration will be given to siblings.
